The exterior shell of the building is almost complete. Siding and windows towards the Waltham Street elevation are in final steps. The masonry façade at Mass Ave has been finished recently, but the glass storefronts and sidewalk paving still need to be done. The Mass Ave sidewalk will be completely restored for the upcoming holiday season. Waltham Street will be finished during the month of December.
All mechanical, electrical, and plumbing trades are completing their interior rough work in several vertical stacks, starting on the Mass Ave side. Many inside areas have been sheet rocked and taped in preparation for finishes in the coming weeks. Temperature and humidity is being maintained within the building as some colder weather begins to set in. We will have crews working Saturdays whenever weather permits. The site will be closed on Thanksgiving day, Friday and through the weekend. Police details will continue to be used whenever street work or major deliveries are needed.
